For those looking to convert their Mazda 808 over to rotary-powered, this Rotary Engine Conversion Crossmember Kit will allow you to get the job done not only quickly and easily, but most importantly, correctly!
Starting off with a high-quality factory reproduction RX3 chassis crossmember that mounts under the front sway bar mounts, it then utilises one of our H/Duty Rotary Engine Plate/Mount combos to position your engine in the correct position for both driveline alignment and proper clearance.
A noteworthy point regarding our chassis crossmembers, these are high-quality reproductions made right here in Australia with the correct alignment for a perfect fit-up, unlike many of the cheaper reproductions available online that are mass-produced poorly overseas out of lower grade materials and with inconsistent alignment - Don't be fooled.
We offer this kit with two options for engine mounting - Standard position and also a 30mm set-back to provide additional clearance at the front of the engine bay for your cooling system, fan shroud and large intercoolers. eACH All kit is supplied with new high tensile stud & multi-hex nut sets for the engine plate and chassis crossmember.
For the transmission we have most popular option covered, with gearbox crossmembers & mounts available to suit C4, Toyota W58 & R154 & S4/5 5-speed transmissions, fabricated to provide plenty of clearance for large exhausts.
Modified & refurbished main crossmembers to suit the rotary conversion are also available as an upgrade on an exchange basis (see options tab). What you will get in return is a crossmember that represents a factory RX3 item. The factory piston engine mounts are neatly removed before the crossmember is modified for added clearance with laser-cut bracing added for strength and the whole lot is professionally powder coated for a neat factory-like finish.
