After 10 years the PAC team headed back to Auckland to revisit the Meremere track, with the MX6 and the ever popular GRUMP2 of Mckern Racing. NZ put on a picture perfect scene with great weather and a very excited crowd. The weekend saw over 20,000 spectators attend the two day show.

Day 1, saw the team show off the two cars at the Auckland Showgrounds where spectators had the chance to see the cars up close and to talk to the team before they hit the track on Sunday.

Day 2 was the time to get down to business, with George behind the wheel the crowd were given a show they would not soon forget, with 300m burnouts each run. With track and weather conditions favourable in the morning the MX6 reeled off an easy 7.3. Then George managed an even faster run of 7.22 cementing the title of the fastest Rotary to have graced the Meremere track. By the afternoon the boys decided to go all out and try and make the MX6 the first ever Rotary to run a six second pass in NZ, unfortunately the car overpowered the track and the run was aborted.

The team would to thank everyone who came out to support them and they look forward to the next event. The team are now moving down South in preparation for the South Island Championship in Christchurch on 21/22 Feb.
