Coming to us all the way from Adelaide in South Australia, Shaun towed in his immaculate Mazda Capella along with a crate full of parts for a few finishing touches .
Having already had most of the work completed himself, all that was left to do was build and install the engine, transmission, fuel system and wiring.

Work started soon after the car was dropped off and once the engine was built it was ready to install.

Next up our fabricator Ross measured the boot for the new custom fuel tank and intank pump combo to be built and fitted.

Making sure the engine bay looks just as good as the exterior, Shaun opted for a few polished chrome and powdercoated accents which really sets it off.

Supplying the boost is a Garrett GT40 Turbocharger which has also been powdercoated to match the rest of the engine bay.

To help regulate the boost pressure we have installed a Turbosmart Pro-Gate 50 wastegate

A supra 5-speed gearbox with one of our high performance 550hp clutch kits installed looks after the shifting duties.

And tucked behind the MADCAP’s front grille is one of our huge Pac Performance H/Duty 4” intercoolers.

Once built the custom fuel tank was powdercoated black and fitted into the car along with the relocated battery.

The finishing touch on most cars that come to our workshop is a new Pac sticker, Shaun opted for the more subtle old school front windscreen sticker applied by Damien @ Nippy Signs.

After a build that has taken him around 8 years since first being painted, you can just imagine how keen Shaun was to jump behind the wheel of his pride & joy and take it for a drive.

Since picking up the car from us a few weeks ago Shaun has been out cruising it every chance he gets and his 2 young boys love it.
It won't take him long to run in the engine and the car will again be towed up to us from Adelaide so our tuning wizard Rocky can turn up the boost and give this beast some more power.
