If you find yourself wanting to simplify and modernise the old analogue gauge setup in your carbureted or mechanically injected car without an ECU, the Haltech iC-7 "Classic" stand-alone Display kit is a hassle-free & effective solution that not only provides an updated look to your car's cabin, but also introduces a host of awesome features!
The hugely-popular IC-7 Display Dash features a crisp, full-colour display that will let you see your engines vital data in a whole new way, whilst transforming the look of your car's dash, and it's now available as a stand-alone kit that allows users to take full advantage of what's on offer, even if the car isn't equipped with a modern engine management system; and it's easy to install too!
Included in the 'Classic' kit is a semi-terminated harness that allows the iC-7 to interface directly with sensors and switches in your vehicle to display a range of parameters including:
- Road Speed (GPS or Digital Speedo Sender Required - see extras tab)
- RPM
- Water Temp
- Oil Pressure
- Fuel Pressure
- Fuel Level
As well as display Indicators (Turn Signals), Park Lights & High Beams.
Functionality of the IC-7 stand-alone display can also be expanded further with a number of Haltech CAN devices, including their Wideband O2 sensors, Thermocouple EGT boxes, and even tyre temperature and pressure monitoring devices!
Speedo via GPS or Digital Signal
Naturally, you're going to want to display vehicle speed on your new dash, and to do so you will require some kind of speed sensor input for the dash. We have two options for this, the first being the Haltech GPS Speed Input Module, which as the name suggests provides a GPS signal to the dash to register vehicle speed. This is a quick and easy way to add this feature but be aware that for street car applications, this option will not pass engineers certification.
The other option is a Speedo Sender Unit that replaces the factory cable arrangement and sends a digital pulse signal to your dash. These units are engineer approved and what we use in all of our street cars, with units available to suit Toyota R145 & W58, Jatco Auto, FC RX7 5-speed & C4 Automatic.
