A few of the boys were out at the track on the weekend for the Settle the Score Off Street Drag meet and with Sydney Dragway allowing ANDRA cars for this meet a few of the guys thought it a great opportunity to do some testing.
We had Andrew 'The Dentist' Maratos with his RX3 coupe, Anthony Daquino with his RX3 sedan, Luke with his 'STUTTA' R100 and Shane from X-Trim with his RX7 in attendance.
The X-Trim RX7 was back at the track after running a PB for the car of 9.44 @143 during the Wednesday night Street Meet on Slicks.
This time around though he was back on street tyre's looking to better his previous time of 9.865
After a couple of passes struggling to get traction Shane got the launch he was after and the RX7 raced down the track to a new PB of 9.75 @144.
Not quite enough to move up the #PACSTREETKINGS list but an awesome result nonetheless.
Next to post a new PB was Luke in his R100 'STUTTA'
Having run a 8.89 @150 a few months ago Luke was looking to push his beautifully presented R100 even further and that he did running a very impressive 8.71 @154
After a bit of time off from racing it was great to see Anthony back out in his awesome RX3 sedan.
Anthony ran a best of 7.68 @166 before braking his tailshaft on his last run for the day causing minor damage.
No doubt he will have the car back together shortly and be back out racing.
Andrew 'The Dentist' Maratos was back behind the wheel of his 13B turbo powered rocket for some test passes to see if he could break into the 6's
After showing a lot of promise and gaining some very valuable data Andrew's day was unfortunately cut short when he broke his wheelie bar.
All in all it was a great day out for the boys and they are looking forward to their next meet.
