What a feeling it is to have been able to bring yet another customers dream to reality & officially have another 7-second true streeter in the Pac stable! After an epic rebuild that was completed a little over 12 months ago, Leon Rosario has accomplished his goal of running a 7-second pass in his crazy 20B RX3 Coupe!
Slowly but surely chipping away at the ET and getting a feel for the car over the past few months, the boys spent a solid 2 days out at Sydney Dragway testing and chasing down that elusive time slip and thankfully, all the hard work paid off in the end!
The whole Pac team, as well as Leon & his crew worked hard to make things happen and everything came together as planned with the car making some awesome advances, knocking on the door to that elusive 7-second pass with a number of low & flat 8-second runs, before finally kicking down the door with a solid 7.94@176 run on Sunday at the Street I 20 test meet.
Keen to better that time on the next pass, the car was quickly turned around but unfortunately the car got a little skatey but still managed to back it up with a 7.99!
Once again, a huge congratulations to Leon - patience and perseverance paying off as always, and rest assured, there's still plenty more to come!
The car is now back home in Victoria for Father's Day and more street cruising with the family, but we'll see the car back at Pac HQ real soon as we prepare for the @Midnight Mayhem event in November
