GARRETT GTX3582R FORD FALCON XR6T TURBO UPGRADE

The Ford Falcon XR6T is one of the most popular performance platforms today and with the Barra 4.0L engine’s ability to make substantial amounts of horsepower with relatively mild modifications it’s not hard to understand why.

While it is possible to squeeze out some impressive numbers with the factory Garrett turbo this is merely scratching the surface of what this engine has to offer and when you’re ready to take things to the next level you’d be hard-pressed to find a more sensible upgrade than the Garrett GTX3582R.

Featuring a forged billet 11 blade compressor wheel housed inside a .07A/R anti-surge compressor cover, this next generation Garrett GTX-R series turbo delivers wicked performance all in a bolt-on package.

When talking numbers our customers have been producing an average of 400-430rwKw on pump fuel and a whopping 450-500rwKw on E85; all with associated mods and upgrades of course. Not only does the Garrett GTX3582R offer XR6T owners a massive increase in mid-range and top end power but it does so while maintaining near factory response. It’s an all-‘round package!

Another bonus of purchasing the Garrett GTX3582R turbo as a complete package is the highly recommended wastegate flapper modification has already been carried out with the housing itself professionally CNC ported and the OEM-spec 32mm port and flap upgraded to a higher-flowing 37mm setup; helping to rectify the common over boosting issues often seen. The kit also includes a custom CNC folded actuator bracket meaning no more dodgy-looking cut & shut jobs.

As mentioned before, the foot print of the exhaust housing is the same as the factory housing allowing the Garrett GTX3582R Gen2 to bolt straight onto the standard exhaust manifold. Not only does this keep the install relatively hassle free it also helps to keep the upgrade low-key in your engine bay.
