MARK BRENNER RX3 DEBUTS AND WKD13B PBS AT SYDNEY DRAGWAY RACE 4 REAL MEET

The long awaited debut of Mark Brenner's 13B RX3 Sedan went down on Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway and while Mark wasn't able to put down any full passes the car and driver sure did impress, showing great potential and a glimpse of what's to come from this yellow beast.

Having never driven a car of this nature you'd think there would be a decent amount of nerves running through his body but Mark's mad man-like passion for riding trail bikes certainly looked to help him stay focused behind the wheel of this animal of an RX3.

Mark put down some nice burnouts on the night as well a nice flame show as you can see from the photo above. Unfortunately the setup in the skatey track surface out of the hole however it was all hands on experience for Mark and every opportunity he gets behind the wheel is only going to help him get the hang of things.

Needless to say this car is going to be one to look out for with the team looking to improve on the cars previous 7.28@187 PB from back in 2010 with Rodney Rehayem at the wheel

After numerous attempts recently to improve on his 9.7 PB, Paul Kosta and his WKD13B RX3 finally broke through and dipped deeper into the nines.

Starting the night off with a solid 9.8 and backing it up with a 9.7@137, WKD13B ripped out of the hole on the next pass with an impressive 1.43 sixty-foot and drove home for a 9.69@137 before improving again on the next pass with a new PB 9.661@141.

Yet another awesome achievement for Paul and his RX3 streeter, driven to and from the track, full trim, street exhaust and M&H Street tyres!

The Gibbo Brothers Racing Ute YAMUMA was also out of the night putting on a show, making use of the new 9-second Jatco Package, 4" Pac intercooler and Garrett 51r turbo upgrade.

The little ute was a monster out of the hole, launching hard all night and putting down some consistent passes in the 9-sixties.

This Saturday will see Mark Brenner return to Sydney Dragway in his RX3 for the Test & Tune meet so if you want to get a glimpse of this beast for yourself be sure to head out to the track.

Thank you to Cackling Pipes for the awesome track shots.
