With the Brisbane Jamboree only a few weeks away the rush is on to get the Mazda6 SP repaired, painted and prepped ready for the long trip north for the event.
Once the new rear quarter was affixed to the shell the car was shipped off to Danny and his crew at Custom Body Works where the team worked their magic to get the shell repaired and high filled ready for the next step in the makeover.
Looking at the photo above the new rear quarter and sill panel has been grafted onto the original shell perfectly making the task of pre paint body work that much easier.
The car is currently back at the workshop temporarily for Ross to re-fit the rear wing and associated mounting components. Once mounting is completed it will then be shipped back to Custom Body Works where the master himself, Danny will have prep the shell and apply the fresh exterior paint work.
Needless to say it's going to be a tight one but this is nothing out of the unusual for the Pac team and their support crew. Just another day in the office...
