NEW PROHUB 2000 HUB DYNO AT PAC PERFORMANCE

When it comes to dyno tuning performance cars, particularly on the popular roller dynamometers you are faced with many variables that can make the task of getting an accurate reading very difficult, especially with the higher horsepower vehicles.

Due to the way the roller dyno operates
 everything from tyre size and pressures, strapping method, the cars rear end setup and power delivery can alter and mask power output and fine tuning changes. This can make things particularly difficult when tuning highly-strung race cars where every little bit of HP matters.

To combat these issues we introduce our new Mainline Dynamometers Prohub 2000 Hub Dyno.




By taking the wheels and tyres out of the equation this removes of pretty much all of the before-mentioned issues and as a result we get greatly improved accuracy and most importantly increased repeatability between runs. 



With the dyno coupling directly to the vehicles drive hubs power readings are much more accurate and comparable to a vehicles real world performance on the track as many of the variables are removed from the equation. 


Power levels will increase on the scale when compared to the roller dyno due to the reading being taken closer to the engine; again these figures will be a more accurate indication of the engines power output.



Our new Mainline Dynamometers Prohub 2000 Hub Dyno system will be a valuable addition to our AWD1800 4WD roller dyno already in operation, especially when it comes to tuning cars making north of 1000hp at the wheels.
