About the business

Opportunity to join an Australian owned business in the automotive racing industry. We are a re-seller of aftermarket spare parts, with manufacturing and fabricating services located in Revesby NSW.  We are a rapidly expanding company, looking for a new, passionate, committed and driven team member who is willing to play a big part in achieving our company's target sales and goals. 

 

 

About the role

The team is looking to expand their sales department and a position is now available for a sales manager.  We need someone that can help build and structure our sales department and to help take the business to the next level.  The right person will have great customer service skills and be able to forge strong relationships with both retail and trade customers. You must be self motivated and have initiative to get the job done and help meet our customer's needs, this is our number one priority.

The company has several key partners & master distributor agreements, part of this role will require forecasting of flagship products to ensure balanced stock levels. Working alongside the media team, the right candidate will create sales campaigns alongside marketing to ensure sales targets are met for the business.

Existing client relationship is paramount, the right candidate will possess account management skills to keep in contact with clients/workshops and increase spend whilst proactively looking for new business. Working closely with the all parts of the business, part of the role will require improving efficiency within key areas to help automate processes.

 

Your responsibilities and daily tasks will include but not limited to; 

  • Outbound / Inbound Sales
  • Stock ordering / Procurement
  • Inventory control & Asset Management
  • Assistance in setting pricing structures
  • Pro-active monitoring of competitors pricing
  • Telephone enquiries and sales and following up potential sales
  • Attendance of major race meetings running a trade stand (interstate travel involved)

Skills and experience

  • 3-5 years in sales driven role
  • Interest and/or experience in motorsports and/or aftermarket automotive industry
  • Outbound/Inbound sales experience 
  • Basic technical knowledge of Turbochargers/ rotary products
  • Social Media and IT Experience preferred
  • Strong Excel skills highly regarded
  • Highly motivated
  • Process driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Sales driven
