ROTARY REVIVAL #6 @ SYDNEY MOTORSPORT PARK 03-12-17

Sunday the 3rd of December saw 380+ rotaries descend on Sydney Motorsport Park for what is now the largest gathering of wankel powered cars in Australia and possibly the southern hemisphere! 

The parade lap was epic with cars lined all the way up the main straight and around the corner with George leading the pack in the Mazda 6 SP. What a sight it was seeing that many brapping rotors on the track at the same time. 

From the Pac stables we were well represented with close to 30 entrants on the day all enjoying their pride and joy in a safe, controlled environment. 

The off street drags saw a good mix of cars line up and do battle. From our workshop we had George in his 'TO900D' RX3, Ali in his 'ONDABU' RX2, Mirko in his 1300 Sedan 'ROT4RY', Mourad in his RX2 sedan 'TURETS', Shad in his 'MAK13B' RX4 and Brett in the '03BDC' RX3 coupe.

At the pointy end of the eliminations, Shad made it through to the semi finals but with too much power he spun the tyres for most of the track settling for 3rd place. 

The winner of the off street drags for the second time running was the rotary powered hot rod. With plenty of traction and a light weight body this thing gets up and goes. 

There was plenty of action on the track with several cruise sessions held throughout the day giving entrants a chance to put their cars through their paces. 

In the pits the cars that weren't on track were on show with spectators taking the opportunity to take photos and admire the workmanship that goes into building these cars. 

Our merchandise trailer had a steady stream of customers through the day, taking advantage of our specials and picking up the latest merch we have to offer. 

  We would like to thank Gareth Ball and the Rotary Revival team for putting on such a well organised and exciting event and we can't wait for the next one.   A big thank you goes out to all of our customers that joined us for the day, not only did you fly the PAC flag high and proud you guys showed you are an integral part of the thriving rotary community here in Sydney. Lastly thank you to our avid supporters that continue to follow us both at the track and also on our social media outlets, the entire PAC crew are forever grateful.
