STEVE BARNETT'S RX3 COUPE DEBUTS AT MOTOR EX

The long-running Meguires Motor Ex event is considered the ultimate automotive show spectacle and what better event to debut a new or rebuilt car than at this prestigious show.

Long-time Pac Performance customer Steve Barnett has been hard at work these past few weeks making sure the last finishing touches were carried out as planned on his fully rebuilt RX3 Coupe. The finish quality of this car needed to be seen to be believed and under the bright lights of the Sydney Olympic Park Dome it certainly looked the part, mixing it with some of the countries elite show cars. Not bad for a dedicated racer car!

On show as part of the Custom Bodyworks display, Steve's RX3 was very well received by the hordes of attendees that streamed through the doors for the show; every one of them having nothing but positive things to say about the car.

"I got a lot of great feedback on how the car has turned out, especially about the way the car sits nice and low, the paint work and the workmanship in the engine bay. A lot of people were also blown away by the size of the turbo [laughs]." - Steve Barnett

"I really must thank Danny and the team at Custom Bodyworks for all their hard work and George, Rocky and the crew at Pac Performance as well. Without these guys the car would not be where it is today. And of course my lovely wife for her patience." - Steve

Steve's yellow beast wasn't the only Pac Performance-Prepped RX3 Coupe on display though, with Jim Magliveras' white streeter making up part of the Xtreme Performance Clutch display stand. Unlike a lot of the big HP street cars out there Jim's GT45-fed 13BT is backed up by a Supra 5-speed manual box.
