The all-new Turbosmart Straight-Gate50 or as we like to call it eSG50 is boost control re-imagined! This newly-released external wastegate has been designed to provide more flow than any other conventional 60mm poppet style valve on the market while also providing improved control and almost linear response for unparalleled boost control throughout the entire operating range!
The unique design of the Straight-Gate 50 opens up new and exciting opportunities for mounting, thanks to the rotatable actuator housing and the water cooling provisions are a great addition for street & circuit applications, ensuring temperature never becomes an issue even on highly-boosted vehicles being pushed to the limit over long periods of time.
Despite the enlarged top hat to accommodate the new electronics system, Turbosmart's engineers have kept things as compact as possible, with installation & setup is simplified with no springs, no hoses and no boost reference signal to worry about, nor any of the limitations associated with any of them. No more ‘Minimum’ boost levels associated with base spring pressure or the heat-related issues with hoses. If your manifold priority is good enough, you can set your boost anywhere from zero up to ‘full-send’ – with a few simple keystrokes on your laptop or tuning interface.
