Here at Pac Performance we’ve gotten quite a reputation for building some off-tap street cars and each and every time a new build comes along we try to take things to the next level to make the whole build experience and the overall outcome as awesome as possible for the customer.

When Abdel Sage came to us with a freshly painted RX3 sedan shell he had a fairly clear mind set of what he was after and left it up to us to make it happen. 16 weeks later the sexy RX3 sedan you see here rolled out of the Pac Performance workshop and Abdul has been driving the pants off it ever since, always wearing a grin from ear to ear; in fact we recon Abdul’s jaw is would have to be starting to hurt from smiling so much...

Pieced together from the ground up, in-house at Pac Performance this RX3 sedan may look like a bit of a show pony on the outside but it’s also got a mob of wild brumbies under the bonnet and a 9-second time slip that prove it’s anything but.

Big n fat FR18 Simmons fill the guards just right and along with the handfuls of chrome scattered around look great against the shmick custom metallic blue which is actually based off a factory Mazda RX3 colour.

Under the bonnet is where all the excitement happens with a tried & proven Pac-spec 13BBPT Series 6 engine, accompanied by a Garrett 51r turbo and Turbosmart UltraGate50.

The brains of the operation is a Haltech PS2000 ECU with the thirsty rotor fed a steady supply of pump E85 via one of our custom direct fit fuel tank/ triple pump setups.

Transferring the power to the black top is one of our 9-second Jatco 3-speed combos and a custom 9in diff, filled with Strange goodies and billet axles. We’ve also upgraded the brakes to pull the beast up after a blast with 4-wheel discs and twin piston callipers up front.

Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, check out this trim work by our good mates at X-Trim. Genuine Recaro Type R take pride of place in the cabin along with an Autometer-filled fibreglass dash.

When slamming gears through the B&M shifter at the track Abdel is kept safe by a removable ANDRA-spec ‘moly half cage.

When Abdel picked up his RX3 from the workshop the smile on his face was the size of a Boing 747 and after cruising out to Sydney Dragway not long after, running an easy 9.71@137 and cruising back home he was over the moon.

"I couldn't be happier with the service and how the car turned out. The work the Pac boys have done is simply awesome; I really don't know why people are always saying it's hard to build a car... [Laughs]" - Abdel

So if you too want to turn your dreams into reality come down to the workshop and we can make it happen!
