MicroTech has revised their popular EGT Modules for 2022, updating to a new slimline billet alloy housing & 4-pin Deutsch connector as well as adding a new diagnostic screen, the same as found on their new wideband sensors and PDMs, providing valuable assistance when troubleshooting issues.
The Microtech DT EGT4 is a 4-channel module, perfect for 3 & 4 rotor as well as 4 & 8 cylinder applications and is an important tuning tool for engines being pushed to their limits, providing the tuner with the ability to monitor and log each individual rotors/cylinders Exhaust Gas Temperature. Keeping a close eye on your EGT's you can diagnose possible problems and rectify them before they lead to expensive engine damage or failure. Connecting to the MicroTech LTC Dash via the CAN Hub, the DT EGT-4 Module has 4 inputs for K-type Thermocouples with an operating range from 0-1200 Degrees Celsius.
A maximum EGT limit can also be set in the MicroTech Engine Protection Mode function on your MicroTech ECU which will rev limit the engine in the event any cylinder runs hotter than it should.
The DT EGT-4 Module has 2 different outputs which transmit the Exhaust Gas Temperature Data to various MicroTech devices.
