In the hunt for power and low ETs on the track it's unfortunate that nine times out of ten, safety is one of the last things most performance car owners think of. Here at Pac Performance though, safety is of high priority when building a car, especially when it is going to spend a lot of its time flying down the quarter mile at near warp speed. We've seen what can happen when things go wrong; safety is not an area you want to cut comers on, trust us!
Pumping out sub 10-second street cars by the dozens these days, a common job in the workshop is equipping customers cars with the necessary safety equipment to meet the strict ANDRA rules for cars running 10.99 or quicker over the quarter mile. While this is a job that we can carry out for you in the workshop we can also supply everything needed for car owners to do the job at home themselves.
A quality approved harness restraint system is one of the listed ANDRA requirements and we choose to use and recommend IMPACT harnesses and we have them available in 5-point Latch and Link and also Cam Lock versions, priced at $220+gst and $330+gst respectively.

A simple portable fire extinguisher like this can be the difference between having some small fire damage and a burnt-out wreck. Another item on the ADRA list, $60+gst
Big power, sticky tyres and a grippy track can often lead to driveline breakages, including tail shaft uni joints and indeed the shaft itself. Pac Performance can supply an adjustable pre-fabricated tailshaft loop, ready to go for $49.99+gst
One thing that a lot of guys get pulled up for at the track is not having a radiator overflow bottle fitted. While you may be able to get away with a cable tied Coke bottle as a temporary fix it's a smart idea to fit a proper setup in your car. Pac Performance can supply these quality H/Duty plastic coolant overflow bottles with drain tap for $90+gst
Pac Performance are able to fabricate ANDRA approved roll cages in-house to meet all safety standards, from a simple half cage job to a full funny car-style setup. With our target audience for this feature being quick streeters, a popular setup we have available is a full ANDRA approved 6-point roll cage setup with removable front section for street duties.
Simply bolt the front half in when you're going out racing and when you want to switch back to street duties, simply un-bolt and store it away for next time.... We're able to build these roll cage setups to suit any car with prices starting at $3500+gst
When fitting a roll cage to your car you must ensure that all bars located around the driver and passengers are sufficiently padded using Approved roll cage padding as pictured below.
