BIG PBS FOR PAC 20BS AT ADELAIDE JAMBO

After making some great progress on the hunt for that elusive 5-second pass in recent weeks, the whole Pac Performance crew were in high spirits in the lead up to Adelaide Jamboree. Heading to 'The Bend' with the toughest rotary powered cars in the country, confidence levels were at an all-time high!

After debuting his new pro car at this very event, 2 years ago, Jay and the Sadek Racing crew headed back to Dragway at The Bend with 'SALOUPA' for Jamboree to once again leave their mark and chase a win in the highly-competitive Factory Xtreme class.

Jay managed to put down solid runs in testing on Friday and the main event on Saturday, muscling his way through into the finals, but the HUGE 6.17@223 PB run on Friday afternoon was by far the highlight of the event for team - a pass that further cemented the car's position as the World's Quickest Automatic Rotary while also bumping the car into the #2 spot on the Aussie ladder, just behind George.

Unfortunately, the boys weren't able to bring home the class win on the night, but that's racing and the team were still in high spirits returning back to Sydney...

Congratulations Jay and crew!

Friday's test day was red-hot for George in the RX9 running back-to-back 6.1s and 235+ mph early on, before smashing out a PB 6.14@227 as well as a new rotary world record speed of 237.63mph, serving as more proof that the stars are starting to align for the team in their hunt for that 5-second time slip!

Things unfortunately took a bad turn on tthe first run ofSaturday morning's main event with the car getting out of shape in the deep end when the tail shaft failed, sending George into the wall at speed before flipping the RX9 onto its roof... Thankfully the safety team and crew were on the scene with lightening speed, getting George out of the car and harms way with only few bumps and brruises.

As unfortunate as George's accident was, with George being safe and well and the car being repairable - this is simply just another speed hump for us to get over, and as always, we'll be back out again, bigger and better than ever to pick up right where we left off! Friday's efforts by the team and the performance of the RX9 showcased what has been a lot of hard work & R&D behind the scenes, coming together to produce results on the track. The results that have been achieved at the track over the past few months have proven without a doubt that we're heading in the right direction!

Once again thank you to all of you that sent through messages and well wishes, our followers and fans who came by the pits as well as our sponsors for their continued support!
