BOSS JNR storms the #PACSTREETKINGS Leaderboard

Sam 'The Godfather' Sadek surprised his son Jay with this awesome 9 second RX4 sedan for his 17th birthday at the start of June and to say Jay was excited would be an understatement. 
At the time Jay was still only on his L plates but since then he has obtained his P plates and been hitting up the drag strip every opportunity he gets. 

The first full pass Jay made was a very impressive 10.3 and after that he hasn't looked back running a new PB pretty much each time he runs the car. 

Previous owner Jason Gynn's PB with the RX4 was a 9.63 @ 136 putting him in 4th place on the #PACSTREETKINGS Leader Board at the time. 

On his second outing in the car Jay was looking to better Jason's PB and did so firstly with a 9.53 @138 and then backing it up with a crazy 9.488 @139 putting him straight into 3rd place on our #PACSTREETKINGS Leader board.

 Be sure to keep an eye on this kid. He is certainly a chip off the old block when it comes to Drag racing!

It's great to see this next generation of kids racing the right way at a drag strip within a controlled environment and not on the street.

Keep up the good work Jay we look forward to seeing you push your car even further.
