Strong Results for Dom Perri and Dave Muscat at the NPRA Dubbo round.
Dom and Dave headed to Dubbo over the weekend for the No Prep Racers Australia (NPRA) first ever event at the Bodangora Airport which was running alongside the Dubbo Motorfest. The boys were locked and loaded, ready to take on some tough competition across two very different classes.
Dom Perri in his 20B powered RX2 Coupe “GODRX2” competed in the Street Gangster class, where every vehicle must be street registered and retain its full interior. Dave Muscat in his 13B powered R100 “BOS100” was entered the Stick Shift class, which is reserved for cars running traditional H-pattern manual transmissions.
The weekend started strongly, with both Dom and Dave securing wins in round one. Dom faced one of the toughest cars in the Street Gangster field but was sharp on the tree and put together a strong run to take the victory.
Both drivers continued their winning form in round two, moving one step closer to their respective finals.
Dom secured another victory in round three to earn his place in the Street Gangster final. In the final a malfunction with the starting tree affected the first attempt, forcing the final to be rerun. After lining up again, Dom finished runner-up in the Street Gangster class an outstanding result against some incredibly tough competition.
Dave completed an incredible weekend of racing remaining undefeated and taking the win in the Stick Shift class showing the piston boys some rotary power!
A class win and a runner-up finish made it a very successful weekend for boys, A huge congratulations to Dave, Dom and their crews on their impressive results at the Dubbo No Prep event!
Special mention goes out to Emmanuel Mann aka ‘GADGET’ who was on hand to help the boys with tuning these rotary powered beasts and keep the power to the ground.
The next event on the NPRA calendar is the Gunfight At Gunnedah 2 which will be held Gunnedah Airport, Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th November 2026. No doubt Dom & Dave will be keen to back up their performance from this event!!
