HEAVY DUTY 9 INCH DIFF CONVERSIONS



In the chase for power you need to make sure that your cars driveline can handle the punishment. You cars differential has the all-important job of putting the power to the ground and so if the setup is not up to scratch it's going to end up in pieces and you're going to be stuck with a big bill and the headache of now having a car that doesn't drive.

There is no doubting that when it comes to high performance rotaries, or any car for that matter the trusty nine inch diff is the conversion/upgrade of choice and Pac Performance has pieced together a cracker of a combo that will make diff dramas a thing of the past.



Starting off with an aftermarket, fabricated Heavy Duty diff housing centre section we then combine that with 1/4 inch thick-wall axle tubes and billet housing ends in house to give us a strong base to build from. The axles tubes slide several inches into the centre section which itself has extended side 'wing' areas, making for a built-in housing brace of sorts to help reduce chances of the housing twisting under extreme force during drag strip launches. Once fabrication has been completed, the diff housing is then powder coated to give a durable, long lasting finish



Our diff centre of choice features a Strange S-Case housing, H/Duty gears with your chosen ration, and your choice of either a spool for the dedicated racer or Detroit True-Track LSD for the street car.



Finishing the package off is a set of new Mark Williams 31 spline billet axles fitted with H/Duty 5/8 inch wheel studs and your choice of brake setup. 

We offer an OEM-style rear break setup that features new cross drilled and slotted disc rotors with internal hand brake assembly, reconditioned callipers, new H/Duty brake pads and brake lines.

Or for those who are looking for something a little more serious we also offer a full Wilwood extreme kit featuring larger 11.5 inch rotors, four piston street legal callipers, pads and  lines.
 
All diff conversions come completely assembled in house, ready to bolt in, fill up with oil and drive away, perfect for the DIY guys. We also offer a full installation service carried out by our trained technicians for those who prefer not to get their hands dirty.



Diff conversions can be built for any model vehicle, some early model Mazda setups able to be built to factory length without the need to have the car in the workshop.
