A massive congratulations to Jay Sadek who hopped into the drivers seat of his Dad's 20B powered RX3 coupe yesterday for the first time running an insane 6.938 @193 on his first full pass!!
After a few shake down passes earlier in the day to get a feel for the car it was time for Jay to pull all 3 gears and lay down a full run.
With a strong burnout to heat the tyres, Jay was ready for action staging on both beams.
Letting go of the trans-brake the coupe left the line hard with a 1.0 60" lifting the front wheels, Jay then raced down the track getting off the throttle just before the finish line and pulling the chutes on his first full pass.
Pumped from the run it wasn't until he met with the tow car to find just out how fast he went. To say he was excited would be a huge understatement.
The time Jay ran is also a new personal best for the car with his Dad, Sam 'The Godfather' Sadek narrowly missing out on a 6 second pass himself with a 7.03 @194 ran at last years Brisbane Jamboree.
Jay, the youngest driver in the Pac Performance stables now sits in 6th place on our Hall of Fame with his time the 6th quickest in Pac history. Not bad for a kid still on his 'P' plates.
The next generation of Pac is in good hands!
