MAZDA6 SP & WKD13B LET LOOSE AT WICKED WEDNESDAY OFF STREET MEET 13/11/13

The Pac Performance team headed out to Sydney Dragway on Wednesday night with the Mazda6 SP to get some testing done for the upcoming 4, 6, Rotary & Turbo Nationals in Adelaide this coming weekend.

Being a normal off-street meeting the boys were not expecting much from the track with minimal prep but for the two passes put down on the night some solid numbers were put down. Starting with an easy 6.48@213 off the trailer, followed by a skatey 6.46@210 with George backing off early on both runs...

An unusual sight at a street meet, the Mazda6 SP drew a huge crowd in the staging lanes and on the track, all blown away with the cars performance on a normal Wicked Wednesday track surface...

Joining the Mazda6 SP was Paul Kosta with his 13BT RX3 streeter WKD13B.

Fresh from an E85 conversion, Paul has been hanging to get back to the track. After a 10.0 shake-down run, Paul dipped straight into the nines with a 9.91@135.

Lining up for the last pass of the night WKD13B left the line hard and went on for an impressive 9.76@137, all on street tyres and driven to the track and back.

A solid effort by Paul which is sure to be improved on with some more fine tuning and track time so watch this space.
