Filling the void nicely between two extremely popular Garrett turbochargers, those being the GTX3582 and GTX4202, the new Garrett GTX4088 packs a killer punch, capable of flowing a reported 850hp whilst retaining optimum response thanks to the new 11-blade billet compressor wheel.

With the older 800hp rated GT4094 already a very popular turbo with the rotary and XR6T crews, the new Garrett GTX4088 is set to take its place and allow tuners to push the envelope even more to deliver peak power quicker and easier; its small stature giving away very little as to what this bad-boy can deliver.
Unlike some of the other GTX revisions, Garrett have kept wheel specs exactly the same with the new GTX4088 as seen below.
Compressor wheel: Inducer - 63.5mm, Exducer - 88 mm, Trim - 54, A/R - 0.72
Along with the updated machined GTX compressor wheel the new release Garrett GTX4088 features all new aerodynamics and dual ceramic ball bearings bringing it up to par with the rest of the GTX catalogue.
