The Top Gear Festival is rolling back into Sydney bringing the global television phenomenon that is TopGear to life in a two day festival extravaganza held at Sydney Motorsport Park! Featuring legendary hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May and of course The Stig as well as Aussie co-hosts Shane Jacobson, Steve Pizatti and Craig Lowndes the TopGear Festival Sydney is an event packed full of entertainment both on and off the track.
This year, the Pac Performance team and the legendary 20B Mazda6 SP will be in attendance promoting the Sport Compact Sydney Jamboree which will be taking place the following weekend on the 15th March. Along with a selection of other tough-as-nails Sport Compact cars on the Jamboree display we will be joined by the crew from Sydney Dragway and ANDRA with their flash new promotional transporter in an overall promotion of the sport of drag racing in Australia.
In celebration of the event and to give the crowd a taste of what the Jamboree is about there is plenty of excitement planned with regular start-ups throughout the 2 days, promo girls, goodie bags as well as a chance to see the cars in action on the track as they do blasts down the main straight of Sydney Motorsport Park.
On track entertainment for 2014 also includes young Aussie Daniel Ricciardo and his Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One car taking on the lap record as well as the Holden State of Origin Car Challenge where NRL legends from NSW and QLD will go head to head in a set of true Top Gear style challenges, The Ultimate Speed Showdown plus much, much more.
The action doesn't stop on the track with exciting off-track festival features including a Celebration of racing icon Ayrton Senna featuring his MP4/4 as raced to the 1988 Formula One world championship; Motoring in Motion, the new interactive motoring experience; the Toyota Family Fun Zone; Toyota 86 Playground and Landcruiser Challenge; the Subaru WRX Experience and the trackside XXXX Gold Retreat just to mention a few.
Top Gear Festival Sydney for 2014 will be held across two days – March 8-9 – at one of Australia’s premier motorsport facilities, Sydney Motorsport Park and is set to be one of the biggest motoring events of the year don’t miss out! - See more at the official TopGear Festival Sydney website here.
