PAC @ SYDNEY DRAGWAY'S ROTARY NIGHT 16-05-18

Last Wednesday night Sydney Dragway held it's first Rotary night, a night dedicated to the mighty wankel motor! 

Our workshop was well represented as usual with 7 cars attending. Eric Wolf was back out in his 'TRIPLE' RX3 getting some test runs in for next weeks Workshop Wars, Shad was also there in his RX4 coupe 'MAK13B' and Mourad in his 'TURETS' RX2. Debuting their Pac built beasts for the first time we had Wally in his red RX3, Danny in his 'SKECHY' RX3, Mathew Rehayem in his Silver 1st gen RX7 and Ali in his 'JET09S' RX3. 

 

 Eric Wolf showed his experience with a couple of wild, wheels up low 8 second passes finishing with a best of 8.35 @168

On his first ever full pass Wally ran a 10.6 backing up with a much better 9.61 @134 in his Red RX3. 

 Ali Randa smashed it out of the park on his first ever run in the car with a 9.61 @140, later backing it up with an even better 9.45 @140.
Not bad for a couple of rookies... 

Danny struggled with traction on his first 2 passes in the car not getting a full run down but had a great time getting a feel for his 'SKECHY' beast. 

Looking for that elusive 8 second pass, Mourad will have to wait until next time with the car running a best of 9.5 in less than ideal track conditions. 

Also struggling with traction on the night was Shad in the 'MAK13B' RX4 coupe. 

Racing his car fresh from the dyno was the boys cousin, Mathew Rehayem in his 1st gen RX7. Just wanting to ease into racing slowly as he had never raced before, Mathew rattled off a couple of easy 10 second passes. 

Nothing makes us happier than seeing our customers out enjoying their cars and running numbers and with testimonials like this from the boys we know we are doing things right.
