PB'S SMASHED DURING PRIVATE TEST DAY @ SYDNEY DRAGWAY

Smiles all round after a great day of testing at Sydney Dragway last Friday, with plenty of PB's run during the day and reset by the last run.

We had 2 new 8 second runners from our PAC Racing elite group with the first being Mourad in his TURETS, RX2 running 3 x 9.0 passes in the morning and finally cracking the 8's with an 8.92@151 just after lunch. He finished up with 2 more 8 second passes with the quickest of the day being his final run an 8.87@151.

Ali in his JET09S RX3, with only a few passes under his belt, set himself a goal to run an 8 on the day. His first pass saw him break his own PB with a 9.337@146, the next pass he smashed his PB again with a 9.08@147mph, but he was not done yet. He chipped away at his time the next few runs, 9.07, 9.05 then he pulled out an 8.95@149mph for his last run placing him firmly in the top 10 of #PACSTREETKINGS leader board, and all of this on 225 tyres, very impressive!!!

Wally in his red RX3 sedan took advantage of his track time running a string of 9 second passes finishing off the day with a new PB of 9.21@145, not quite enough for our leader board but with a bit more track time he is sure to be knocking on the door of the top 10 real soon.

Another set of Rehayem Brothers were on the track with Matthew racing his silver street RX7 and older brother Mario piloting his #billetbypac13B powered Starlet.

Matthew started off running a stout 9.76@134 on his first full pass in the car. A novice behind the wheel, the test day was just what he needed with his confidence lifting on every run. His times dropped, each time he crossed the finish line, running 9.58@146, 9.34@145, 9.305@145, then finishing with an impressive 9.21@145 for the day.

Returning from a short break from racing, Mario was keen to blow out the cobwebs in the starlet, and he did just that running his pocket rocket to a new PB and an Auto World record of 7.19@185mph.

Also returning from a short break, Sadek was looking forward to running some full passes in his 20B powered RX3. After a couple of shakedown passes through the day Sadek smashed out a 7.17 @189mph.

Congratulations to all the racers that ran new PBs, it was a great day had by all and we look forward to seeing what the next couple of months brings as the competition heats up with these street cars.
