With some of our favourite early model cars now pushing 35+ years of service it’s understandable that the original factory fitted seat belts would be looking a bit worse for wear.
Sun damage and colour fading, frayed edges and temperamental latching mechanisms are all good signs that a seat belt is in need of replacing, with the latter two being serious safety issues that should be taken very seriously.
Pac Performance offer a range of Australian made, safety certified replacement front and rear seat belts to suit all early model Mazdas including but not limited to R100, RX2, RX3, RX7; while also suiting a wide range of other makes and models of similar vintage including Toyota, Nissan, Datsun, Mitsubishi and many more. These seat belts are available in either fixed or retractable.
Pictured below is a direct replacement non retractable front seat belt kit, almost identical to the OEM setups found in most early model Japanese vehicles.
All seatbelt kits come complete with all necessary hardware so there is no need to re-use your old bolts and washers.
For those looking to update their car to something a bit more modern we also offer fully retractable seat belt kits which come with everything to bolt straight up to the factory points.
With the retractable setup you can say goodbye to paint damage caused by the seat belt latch falling into the sill area and getting caught when closing the door as well as the annoying need to adjust the seat belt for a new driver or passenger. It's a one size fits all, super neat and simple upgrade.
Back seat passengers are covered too with replacement rear seat belts also available at Pac Performance, albeit only in non-retractable.
