It is with great excitement to announce that Rocky Rehayem has joined the Mazda Motorsport Team for the upcoming Targa Tasmania next week.
Pac Performance has been helping develop the RX8 and MPS3 rally car’s for the past eight months alongside Mazda Motorsport team manager, Allan Horsley, and they are confident that this year’s cars have the potential of seriously contending for a podium finish.
Rocky’s role will be as a technical consultant for the engine management and data acquisition for both Mazda entries.
The RX8 driven by Steve Glenney will be contesting the outright class while the MPS3 driven by Brendon Reeves will be competing in the production showroom class.
The Targa Tasmania runs from the 27th April through to the 2nd May and both cars will cover 2000km around Tasmania during the race.
