In an unfortunate incident on Saturday 18th at Sydney Dragway, Rodney Rehayem crashed his PAC RX3 in a horrific accident on his first pass of the day. The team would like to thank the rescue crew, the paramedics and the Sydney Dragway staff for their quick response at the scene. Rodney knows how lucky he is and how tragic the whole incident could have been and for that he is truly thankful. “It is a testament to the safety standards of ANDRA and the enforcement of rules and regulations by the track staff that has allowed Rodney to walk away relatively unscathed” says his older brother Rocky Rehayem. Rodney has suffered a fracture to his lower back from the impact of the accident but with plenty of rest he will make a full recovery.
A big thank you goes to all the fans and supporters who have sent messages of concern and support through facebook, emails and phone calls, it is much appreciated and has been truly overwhelming, and it shows how close the PAC community is.
The team are still planning to attend the True Blue Drag event at Calder Park Raceway in Melbourne on the 22/23 Jan 2011 and hope that you will all come down to cheer the team on.
