Last Wednesday night saw the first round of the all new Gulf Western Oils Workshop Wars at Sydney Dragway.
Six of Sydney's quickest workshops which include C & V Performance, Gas Racing, Motor sports Mechanical, Westend Performance, Maatouks Racing and yours truly Pac Performance were hand selected by Sydney Dragway to compete in the first season of Workshop Wars.
At last Wednesday nights Race 4 Real Workshop Wars event four of the six shops were in attendance with 2 cars each ready to do battle. Gas Racing, C & V Performance, Maatouks Racing and our workshop, represented by Eric Wolf in his 'TRIPLE' RX3 Sedan and Rami Gambino in the 'CALHLP' RX3, 2 of our quickest street driven cars.
It was a rotor vs 2JZ vs RB vs V8 affair with the Rotors coming out on top at the end of the night after making it through the heats

The final race of the night saw our boys face off against each other, 13B vs 20B. After sleeping on the tree Eric took the win by just .003 driving around Rami to a 8.620 @160 with Rami running a new pb of 8.758 @153 in what was one of the most exciting races of the night.
Both cars were driven to the track and home again after not missing a beat all night. A huge congratulations to Rami & Eric and to Sydney Dragway for putting on such a great night of racing. We now look forward to the next event on the 18th of April as the other workshops aim to seek redemption, hope to see you there!!!!
