ROUND 7 NSW CHAMPIONSHIP - SYDNEY DRAGWAY 14/9/13

The Pac Performance crew headed out to Sydney Dragway on Saturday just passed for Round 7 of the NSW Championship series, supporting customers Lee Docherty, Elia HaJjar and Andrew 'The Dentist' Maratos.

After a nine month break from racing Lee Docherty and his 13B MX5 made their return to the track and wasted no time blowing the cobwebs out. One would expect it to take a few passes to get back into the grove of things but it didn't take Lee too long at all before he was banging out sevens at 170+ mph.

With a few skatey passes in between, Lee put down some solid passes including a 7.88@171 and a 7.72@176 before finishing off with a best of 7.67@175 for the day. Going off this meets efforts it's safe to say this little purple beast will be back to running low sevens in no time.

Looking to back up his record pass from the private test day a few weeks ago, Andrew 'The Dentist' Maratos brought his brightly-coloured coupe out for a few laps.

Starting out the day with an effortless 7.53@184 confidence was running high but unfortunately luck wasn't on Andrews side after that as the remainder of his passes that day would see Andrew backing off with the car skating around and suffering a gear selection issue late in the day.

Elia Hajjar has been working hard the past few meets, trying to get on top of things with his wild RX3. The little 13B is producing some serious mumbo and has quite the reputation for being a handful to drive.

This meet the guys were testing out a new 4-link setup, installed in an effort to tame the beast with all reports being that it's been a move in the right direction.

Check out the above cars and the whole S/C class in action in this clip thanks to Mark at MVP.
