SOLID 7.4 PBS FOR LEE & TALAL

It's been a while since we've seen some movement on the Automatic 13B tables but in testing for the Sydney Jamboree, and again in qualifying at the event, we've seen two Pac machines drop solid PBs!

First up was Lee Docherty in his 13B Pro Compact MX5 who only recently swapped over to a T400 Automatic from a clutchless setup, but is already seeing great improvements, not only in ET but consistency as well... In testing on Friday, the MX5 put down several impressive passes, including a 7.40@186 PB in the afternoon. Unfortunately, Lee broke the wheelie bars on the next pass which prevented any further testing however, with the bars repaired, Lee returned to the track on Saturday for the even where he put down a 7.6 in his first and only pass on the day before the rain put an end to the day for everyone.

Also getting in on the action was fellow 13B/Auto racer Talal in his Mod 10.5 R100, who blasted out an off-the-trailer 7.42@175 PB on Saturday morning, much to the joy of his crew and the rest of the pac team!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any more passes from these two machines with bad weather ending the event prematurely. But don't worry, we're sure to see this pair continue to run deeper into the 7s in the near future as they do their best to hunt down that elusive 6-second pass!
