Those who have known us for a while will be very aware that our team rarely backs down from a good challenge, even more so when there's food is involved so when one of our customers put a banquet dinner on the table, it was on like Donkey Kong. The challenge, to transform Joe Daminato's fresh 10A RX3 from the roller you see here to a full-runner in just 5 weeks.
That's the complete driveline including new S6 Bridgeport engine & Garret turbo setup, Jatco transmission, suspension, brakes, full re-wire front to back, sound deadening, cooling system, E85 fuel system, dyno tune, the lot! With everything being carried out in-house... Hell, we'll even be stretching the front wheel arches to give some more clearance for the new wheels...
While other parts of the build like interior trim and the paint work on the modified front guards are out of our control, the way our extended team that will be looking after those parts works we wouldn't be surprised if that's all sorted by the deadline too...
Now a challenge isn't legit until there's a hand shake so George and Joe sealed the deal this morning and the timer kicked off. Only 35 days to go...We better get cracking!!
