THE BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA – 21st June 2012

The Pac Performance team have officially unveiled their new flag ship at a private ceremony at Sydney Dragway yesterday, in front of their sponsors, close team members and media personnel.  The new Mazda 6 SP is sporting a new colour scheme of black and yellow as well as a change of graphics.  After the horrific accident over 12 months ago “the team is ready for a fresh start” says team principal Rocky Rehayem.  The car is a US built chassis but all running gear is built and developed in Australia.  “We are so proud of the fact that all ingenuity and R&D is done right here in Australia.” States Rocky.  The team would like to thank their Sponsors for their ongoing support, names such as Garrett Turbochargers, Haltech, Turbosmart, Mazda Australia, Castrol Edge, Custom Bodyworks, Juice, VP Racing fuels and Impact, all whom have the same dedication as PAC Performance to the Sport Compact scene.

A big thank you also goes out to the fantastic crew, who have worked tirelessly to get this new car built and ready to take on the world. “We are not going after the #1 Rotary title, we want to be the fastest Sport Compact Car in the world!” declared Rocky.  A huge task in hand, but a goal, which is not out of their reach.

The Mazda 6 SP will have its race debut at this year’s Brisbane Jamboree at Willowbank Raceway on the September 22/23.  For more event information check out www.jamboree.com.au
