For those looking to convert their Mazda 808 or 323 over to rotary-powered, this Rotary Engine Conversion Crossmember Kit will allow you to get the job done not only quickly and easily, but most importantly, correctly!
Starting off with a high-quality factory reproduction RX3 chassis crossmember that mounts under the front sway bar mounts, it then utilises one of our H/Duty Rotary Engine Plate/Mount combos to position your engine in the correct position for both driveline alignment and proper clearance.
A noteworthy point regarding our chassis crossmembers, these are high-quality reproductions made right here in Australia with the correct alignment for a perfect fit-up, unlike many of the cheaper reproductions available online that are mass-produced poorly overseas out of lower grade materials and with inconsistent alignment - Don't be fooled.
We offer this kit with two options for engine mounting - Standard position and also a 30mm set-back to provide additional clearance at the front of the engine bay for your cooling system, fan shroud and large intercoolers.
All kits come complete with new high tensile stud & multi-hex nut sets for the engine plate and chassis crossmember.
For 808 owners, we also have the option to include a modified & refurbished main crossmember to suit the rotary conversion on an exchange basis (see options tab). What you will get in return is a crossmember that represents a factory RX3 item. The factory piston engine mounts are neatly removed before the crossmember is modified for added clearance with laser-cut bracing added for strength and the whole lot is professionally powder coated for a neat factory-like finish.
