Performance rotary engines are notorious for being hard on fan belts due to their high RPM. The standard V-Belt setup as seen on early model engines from the factory tend to start slipping when the engine is pushed and while the popular Twin Belt Pulley setup has helped to overcome this issue for many years now we figured it was a bout time to change things up and give our customers another, even better pulley option.

We're excited to finally release our new Multi-Rib Pulley Kits on our online store, featuring CNC machined water pump and crank pulleys made from the highest quality 6061 billet alloy with a durable black anodized finish and emblazoned with the Pac Performance logo. A plain option is also available for those looking to keep things low-key.

On top of giving your engine a sleek, modern look the real benefit of this Multi-Rib Pulley Kit is belt grip. You see the gripping power of a V-belt relies heavily on the single groove of a pulley, whereas a multi-rib belt offers greater surface area with six individual ribs (smaller V-groove shapes) that provide greater traction with minimal slippage. That means less chance of running into charging and cooling issues when pushing high RPM.
