This PCS GSM package is a proven, well-built electronically controlled shifter setup offering precise, split-second shifting capability with the push of a button or the flick of a paddle. Each package features a slimline push-button control pad, wiring loom, linkage kit, paddle shift module & a compact, sealed actuator which provides a wide range of mounting options, even in the tightest of spaces. And best of all, it's relatively simple to set up and can be used with most popular transmissions.
The easy to use, backlit push pad control can be flush mounted and is small enough to be fitted to most consoles, dashes or even door panels with a bit of creative ingenuity. Fitment in place of the original shifter is our location of choice, offering ease of mounting and keeping the panel within easy reach - we currently offer a direct-fit panel for RX3/808 as seen below, with more models in the works (See extras tab).
Undoubtedly the coolest part of the package, the paddle-shift provides up & down shift commands wirelessly via CAN signal & use of the vehicle's horn wiring. Precisely engineered from billet aluminium with a positive feel the moment you press the paddle, you can shift with confidence without taking your hands off the wheel. Available to suit 5-6 bolt steering wheels (9-bolt option available via special order) it will suit most popular steering wheels & columns.
Gear position is shown on the push-button pad and can also be set up on most digital display dashes including MoTeC, Microtech & Haltech etc. An additional PCD gear position indicator is available separately via special order if required.
The GSM actuator box can be mounted inside or outside of the car & connects to the transmission using a flexible shift cable which opens up many different mounting options - by far the easiest and neatest being under the passenger seat which allows for easy routing of the cable. Wiring is simple a simple task, requiring only power, ground, a brake input, and vehicle speed to operate safely and precisely.
'Please note - To ensure correct and reliable operation of the kit, we do recommend replacing the horn pin set on your vehicle when completing the installation. This can be added to your order via the 'Extras' tab above.
