Recently in for a freshen up and new look was the iconic EZY10Z RX3.
Originally built as one of George's toys over 15 years ago the car has changed hands quite a few times over the years.

Here is how it looked when George first built it all those years ago. For its time it was one of the toughest and best looking RX3’s on the street.
EZY10Z received an updated look a few years ago with the owner then opting for a respray in Celestial Blue Mica.
Looking to make his own mark on the car the current owner decided a respray would be in order, commissioning the guys over at
2Sus Custom Resprays to lay down some House of Kolor Candy Red paint instantly giving the car a fresh, new, current look.
Next on the agenda for the transformation was a new set of shoes. Love them or hate them, Simmons FR’s just seem to suit old school Mazda’s so for this build the owner followed the trend and requested a set of black FR18’s. To help with traction on the road to handle the 550+ rwhp we fitted a set of 305x30x18 Mickey Thompson ET streets.
Helping to stop this beast in its tracks is a set of our Pac Performance 11.5” Twin Piston brakes.
Although still looking good after all these years the engine bay needed an overhaul.
EZY10Z engine bay received a complete make over starting with a freshened up Pac-Spec Series 8 Bridgeport 13B. Continuing the black and Candy red theme, most of the bolt-on parts and accessories like the Series 8 intake, Pac radiator, oil cooler, intercooler and all piping were powder coated in-house in gloss black giving the bay a clean look.
Also still looking good after all these years was the interior complete with one of our fibre glass dash’s. Not really suiting the new colour scheme the owner was going for, the interior was ripped out and the car was sent off to the very capable hands of
X-Trim Motor Trimming.
What we got back from X-Trim was nothing short of stunning with Luke and his team installing a completely brand new interior, which features a pair of Genuine Recaro Type R front seats trimmed in custom black leather and suede trim with red stitching.
The red & black theme was continued throughout the rest of the interior including the original RX3 dash which was also re-trimmed.
Slotted nicely in the newly re-trimmed dash is a MoTeC C127 Dash which will enable the owner to keep an eye on how the engine is operating at all times.
With all of the changes coming together what we were left with was a brand new looking RX3 Sedan, giving this once iconic car its very own identity. All that is left to do now is install a new set of number plates.
